On April 29th, for the 4th year consecutive, on the occasion of the Word Wish Day, City Sightseeing Italy will be a partner of Make-A-Wish, the non profit association that carries out the wishes of children with serious illnesses.

 

The story of the Make-A-Wish

Once upon a time there was Chris, a child of 7 years who lived in Arizona and became ill with leukemia. During the period of the disease, Chris had expressed a great desire, that of living one day as a real COP. The desire of Chris was heard and he had the opportunity to try some great emotions. All this thanks to Make-A-Wish Foundation that, since then, has granted the wishes of thousands of children who struggle against serious diseases around the world.That day was April 29th 1980 and, every year, since then, Make-A-Wish celebrates that day to remember the first wish they made.

 

City Sightseeing and Make-A-Wish Italy Onlus

In our country, City Sightseeing has chosen to be next to Make-A-Wish Italy, founded in Genoa by Fabio and Sune Frontani, in memory of their daughter Charlotte. Make-A-Wish Italy, from 2004 to the present, has made more than 1700 wishes and has changed the lives of many children, offering them the opportunity to experience intense and positive emotions that have helped them to look ahead and that have made them stronger in their battle against the disease.

 

29 April: we celebrate the Word Wish Day on Open-Bus CitySightseeing

We will be able to visit Open Buses in 12 cities and to help children of Make-A-Wish Italy. For each ticket, City Sightseeing will donate €1 to the Association and, in some cities, will be the same "wish children" to climb on the bus to make their dreams come true. It will be a wonderful day of celebration and solidarity which will see City Sightseeing and Make-A-Wish volunteers unite to change the lives of many children with serious illnesses.
